Technology

El Camös skis are built using a sandwich construction method, which involves layering materials around a wooden core to control longitudinal flex and torsional stiffness. Fibreglass, a key structural component, is applied in varying thicknesses depending on the characteristics of each model. Every ski is made from a specific combination of woods, selected to define responsiveness, elasticity, and weight. Slightly concave sidewalls improve edge angle at turn entry, increase stability, and optimise the bond between resin and reinforcements, ensuring a gradual and precise response, even in demanding technical conditions.
